Modern Slavery Statement
At Imbibe Hydration, we are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. This statement outlines the steps we take to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our operations.
Our Business
Imbibe Hydration is a UK-based company specialising in the supply and servicing of high-quality hydration and coffee solutions for businesses nationwide. Our operations involve partnerships with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics providers solely in the UK.
Our Commitment
We recognise that modern slavery, including forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and child labour, is a global issue affecting all sectors and industries. We take our ethical and legal responsibilities seriously and are committed to acting with integrity and transparency in all our dealings.
Supply Chain and Due Diligence
-
We work with trusted partners and suppliers who share our values on human rights and ethical labour practices.
-
We conduct checks on new suppliers and request assurance regarding their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 or equivalent ethical standards.
-
Contracts and supplier agreements include provisions requiring compliance with anti-slavery and anti-trafficking laws.
Policies and Training
-
We have internal policies in place to guard against unethical practices and ensure staff can report concerns confidentially.
-
All employees are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and the importance of vigilance, particularly those involved in procurement and supplier relationships.
-
We are developing ongoing training to help employees identify signs of modern slavery in both operational and supply chain contexts.
Risk Assessment and Monitoring
While the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations is low, we remain alert to potential risks within our supply chain, especially where products or components originate outside the UK. We aim to continuously review and strengthen our procedures to identify and mitigate any areas of concern.
Looking Ahead
We are committed to continuous improvement in our approach to tackling modern slavery and will review and update this statement annually to reflect our progress and any changes in law or best practice.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been approved by the Directors of Imbibe Hydration.
